DESCRIPTION

Father’s Day advice from kids

Six young people give fathers some advice straight from the Bible

Love the Lord. Proverbs 14:26 In the fear of the Lord one has strong confidence, and his children will have a refuge.

Be kind. Psalm 103:13 As a father shows compassion to his children, so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him.

Be thoughtful. Ephesians 6:4 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Be honest. Proverbs 20:7 The righteous who walks in his integrity— blessed are his children after him!

Be wise with your money. Proverbs 13:22 A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the sinner’s wealth is laid up for the righteous.

Matthew 15:20b But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him
