Hebrews 11:1-12:3

An exhilarating presentation of the “Hall of Faith” with one reciter serving as the NARRATOR and multiple other reciters providing the examples of “By faith…” actions. By the climax, beginning with Hebrews 12:1 (Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses…”), the audience can be physically surrounded by the witnesses.

Script: True Religion

A collection of passages from Isaiah, James, and Deuteronomy that focus on the Biblical definition of true religion Three reciters deliver passages intertwined. Reciters should begin their portions of the recitation just as the previous person is finishing with no gap, or even a little overlap. Each reciter should maintain their original level of intensity and not adjust to match the other reciters. The passages are from:• Deuteronomy 10:14-19 NIV84 (Reciter #1)• Isaiah 1:11-12 and 15b-17

Script: Romans 10:8-10

This 2-person recitation embodies faith expressed in the heart and by one’s mouth. Reciter #1 consistently covers the portions that “declare with your mouth” and Reciter #2 covers the portions that “believe in your heart.”

The Attributes of God

The Attributes of God is a series of recitations based on passages from the Bible that describe God. The format is to challenge the audience to decide which attribute is described by the recited passage. Script: All Things to All People

This two-language recitation is a direct translation with each of the two speakers carrying the entire recitation. Overlap the two reciters so that there is no space between the end of one reciter’s section and the beginning of the next. There are two exceptions to that general rule. The first is at the end of Reciter #1’s monologue and the second is before Reciter#2’s monologue. In these two cases, a gap, and even moving the

Script: The Juxtaposition of God’s Way and Man’s Ways

The stark contrast between the way of man and the nature of God is highlighted in this two-language recitation. The two languages of the recitation should have distinctly different sound, so as to reinforce the contrast. After the first monologue, the reciters overlap each other as they deliver their portions of Scripture. The feeling should be like climbing up out of a pit, starting at the bottom and finally reaching the heights. Includes Romans 3:10-17

Script: Acts 2:1-12 in Five Languages

This multi-lingual recitation focuses on the coming of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2 and adds supporting verses from Psalms and Isaiah. The multiple languages give an impression of what the moment felt like.
