Speaking the Bible is an extraordinary project. Gathering forty experts from around the world to contribute to a Bible study. A study that seeks to understand how the books of the Bible sound. We have spent over a year refining the format a
nd creating initial content.
Speaking 1st Corinthians is our first activity guide and it serves as a template for all of the other activity guides in the series. This trailblazing guide is in the first round of edits with the publisher. Simultaneously, it is being run through two beta-test group trials.
Even at this early stage, our first author, Reverend Philemon Kirputo Tanui from the Nairobi Baptist Church is working on Speaking the book of Ruth. He has a passion and expertise for this book.
In addition, we have several leads for additional authors. If you know of someone who is an expert on a book of the Bible, we would love to hear about them and discuss the possibility for their involvement. To learn more check our Authors Project webpage for details about the benefits and requirements for participants in the project.
In related news, David Martin from Prisca Publishing, says that the Foundations of Speaking the Bible book is in final edit. This resource guide supports the entire Speaking the Bible series. Significantly in this book, are 60 pages of memorization techniques and 47 pages covering genre and literary devices. Total length is 348 pages.
Once complete, it goes to layout, then print. Huzzah!
