Introduction & context
We present a new perspective on recitation and the process that has been proven effective for people just like you. You make your selection of a passage to recite and start you on the road to memorization. The best path starts with learning the historical, political, and relational background of your passage. You will start to hear how your passage sounds when spoken aloud.
Patterns & connections
Digging into your passage to find the emphasis and phrasing that will be based on your understanding of the main points of your passage. We add a short literary study identifying conjunctions and literary devices that will influence how you speak your passage and how it connects with other Bible passages.
Dynamics & Delivery
The secret sauce of By Heart recitations. We have tools and techniques that prepare you for confident delivery and make sure that you will not fall. As a finale, you may choose to do a “mini-recitation” (20-30 seconds long) using a verse or two from your passage.
