The International Baptist Convention is a 66-year-old organization supporting a family of over sixty churches located throughout the world. 
By Heart enjoys a special place in the IBC. We count them as both a friend and an encourager to our mission.
Significantly, over the last year, the IBC has been revamping how they work with partner organizations. They seek to provide a more effective offering for their member churches. The new pattern is to sign time-bound partnership agreements. This way, it will allow the churches to have a say in which partners are delivering value. By Heart was one of the first two partners to sign a memorandum of understanding with the IBC.
The benefits to By Heart include not only space on the IBC website, but also access to their portal with contact information for member churches. Without a doubt, the opportunity to present our message at their two yearly events, the Annual Convention Meeting (ACM) and the Ministry Leadership Conference (MLC), is a great perk.
The 2025 MLC was held from March 21st-25th in Palermo, Sicily. Members from many of the IBC churches were in attendance. Each day had multiple seminars, worship, teaching, and opportunities for networking. By Heart presented extensive information about the By Heart mission, we unveiled our Authors Project, and we sought contacts in this “target-rich” environment.
Undeniably, the MLC was an opportunity to develop relationships that are both beneficial to By Heart and personally valuable.
As an Approved Partner Organization of the IBC, By Heart gains a considerable boost in credibility and access and finds itself standing shoulder-to-shoulder with honorable organizations like Refugee Oasis, The Restored Leader, Healthy Churches Global, and the Aquila Initiative.
